Shock wave therapy equipment pain treatment SW10

Shock wave therapy equipment heel pain treatment SW10 is a new method for the treatmentfoe joinpains. It uses a variety of treatment modalities and work probes by deliver shock waves directly into the body of the lesion site, improve functional obstacles effectively, and dispersing accumulation of metabolites. Moreover, it could stimulate and activate the lesion area of muscle groups, also block the effects of pain relief.

Radial shockwave effects fall into three broad categories:

1. Destruction of tissue

2. Healing (increased)

3. Decrease of pain

Shockwave treatment machina can be used to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, in particular, those involving areas where major connective tissue attaches to bone. Common sites that can been successfully treated are:

Foot – plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis

Knee – patellar tendinitis and shin pain

Elbow – tennis or golfer’s elbow

Shoulder – rotator cuff tendinitis and calcific

Hip – trochanteric bursitis

Muscles – various trigger points throughout body

Q. What frequency and pressure is this machine?

A. Frequency(1-16Hz) Pressure(1-5bar)

Q. How many shocks does your equipment do before it needs to be serviced?

 A. 2,000,000 shots

Q. Can the energy go under 60mj?

A. 60-185mj

Q.What is the duration of each treatment?

A.Two miles shocks administered per session. It takes about 5 minutes.

Q. What is shock wave?

A. A shockwave is a pressure wave – any action that displaces its surrounding medium is a shockwave. The ripple created when a stone is thrown into a pond is a shockwave. The shockwaves used in equine medicine are generated in a fluid medium inside a transducer head and are then transmitted readily through skin, fat, and muscle. The high energy waves are focused within the transducer head so that the shockwave can be directed to the precise area of the injury. When shockwaves hit an area of higher acoustic impedance, such as bone, the waves slow dramatically and a large amount of energy is released into the surrounding tissue.

Q. What signs indicate this therapy is needed?

A. Shock wave therapy may treat conditions such as degenerated tendons (Achilles tendonitis), heel pain (plantar fasciitis) and tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis).

Q. How Long Does Treatment Last?

A. The therapy session takes about 15 minutes depending on the disorder that is treated. In general, 3-5 sessions are necessary at weekly intervals. The greatest success rate when dealing with problem areas is achieved by following a 12 week treatment program.

Q. When should I avoid this therapy?

A. Complications are infrequent with shock wave therapy. People who have poor sensation (neuropathy) or hypersensitivity in the target area should not have this procedure. Open sores should also be avoided. Shock wave therapy is not used in patients with heart conditions or seizures. It should not be used during pregnancy. This should be discussed with your physician before undergoing the procedure.
